Hello everyone, my name is Van Talley. I have always been interested in music. When I was a young boy, I was always signing to records and doing air guitar…lol. Sound familiar? So when 5th grade came around, my parents let me start taking guitar lessons. In middle school, I started playing trumpet and did so through high school where he was awarded a music scholarship to Chipola College. I didn’t forget my guitar, but didn’t play it as much. After college, I pursued other professional work. During this time though I was always instructing, coaching and guiding adults and children from corporate training to little league baseball but never forgot about music or my guitar. One of my biggest request was to sing and play The Wedding Song. Now, I want to pass along the knowledge, errors and mistakes I made to make playing your guitar a life changing and fun experience. It doesn’t matter if you want to play acoustic or electric guitar or style of music because the beginning foundation is the same. I have taught friends and family to play guitar as well as helped a youth praise band at a local Private school. I am a great teacher with compassion and patience who will be creative to motivate and be honest with my students. I truly want to help you start your new journey………So what are you waiting for?
